Christmas Pictures

We had pictures taken yesterday by the wonderful Erin Reagan. She's so talented and remarkably patient. Cooper was all about moving; don't hold me, put me down, let me walk...have I mentioned he's mobile? All in all, he wasn't in play clothes, it was around his morning nap time, was wearing shoes that were almost too small, and was being forced to stay still for much longer than he wanted- he actually did really well.

What else is new in the Radford world? Well, it's a short week with Thanksgiving on Thursday. I only work Monday and Tuesday of this week and Jeff works Monday-Wednesday. We'll have Thanksgiving with both sides of my family and Jeff's mom's side of the family Thursday and Jeff's dad's side of the family Friday. I need to get to work on wrapping gifts and finishing up Christmas shopping- I am FAR behind compared to other years. We're hoping our Christmas tree and decorations haven't been inhabited by the critters who found a home in our house this year, so once we've scoped out that situation, the decorations will go up.

Cooper walks everywhere now. Sometimes he starts to run and will get tripped up, but for the most part, he's toddling. His new favorite thing is to march and snap. He doesn't really snap his fingers, but will move his fingers around like he's snapping. We normally march and snap to Harry Connick Jr.'s version of "Supercalafragalisticexpealidocious." He and Avery are still best friends and when he sees her, he lets out a big, "Aaaaaaa!" He's added "Lala" for Mrs. Lara, his sitter, to his vocabulary. We're working on the signs for "please" and "thank you", although they aren't taking off as well as "more" did. He also is getting a molar in, bringing his grand total of teeth to 9. He's completely made the transition from formula to whole milk and we're adding more table food into the mix. Currently his favorites are Nutrigrain bars, ravioli, macaroni and cheese, yogurt melts, biscuits, fruit strips (like Fruit Roll-Ups), Goldfish, and Beanie Weenies.

Yes, I was the mother who have every intention of keeping her child away from processed foods- you see how well that turned out.

It will be interesting to see how Cooper handles the tree. Last year, he was 2 months old during the holidays and not mobile. This year, he is so curious- I fear my days as the "tree perfectionist" may be challenged!
