Outside Time

The weather was so gorgeous this past weekend and we spent the majority of it outside. It was Hondo's and Pops's birthdays, so we went to breakfast with Nana and Hondo on Saturday morning and had dinner with Pops, YaYa, and Uncle Kyle Sunday night as well.

Cooper tried out his new Pirate Ship Water Table:

And mowed the grass with his bubble mower:

Then used that experience to help Pops mow the grass on his birthday:

Unfortunately, the weather crapped out Monday in a bad way. We had strong storms that ended in a tornado warning, high winds, and torrential rains. Our neighborhood is in shambles, but thankfully, our house was spared any damage. We are without power and have been staying with Nana and Hondo since Monday night, but at least we don't have to deal with this:

Tree across a house and car down the street from us.

Trees across the major street near our house.

Tree in the street about a block away from us.

There is worse damage, but I couldn't get down the street to take pictures- too dangerous and too many tree and work trucks! Thankfully everyone involved is safe!
