18-19 Months

In typical late fashion, I'm just now posting what Cooper is up to at 18 months, even though he's closer to 19 months. Hence why this post is labeled "18-19 months."

Here's what our crazy kid is up to these days:

*Saying Mama, Dadda, thank-you, baby, bye-bye, mine (we're super proud of this one; doesn't every parent want their child to be the one who doesn't share?), beep-beep, hot, and uh-oh. He's trying to repeat a lot of what we say, so even if it doesn't come out right, he's really catching on;

*Climbing on furniture, climbing out of the pack and play, and wiggling his arms out of his car seat (yes, we've tightened it and yes, we think safety is a #1 priority- don't judge);

*Loves Ritz peanut butter and cracker sandwiches, apples, ravioli, hot dogs, and grilled cheese;

*Gives Avery her treats when she comes in from outside;

*Follows simple commands: "Please throw it in the garbage.", "Can you bring that to Mama?"

*Loves to help open the door when we get home;

*Enjoys scribbling with his Tadoodles crayons;

*Wants to know how things work, how to take things apart and put them back together, and loves to push his golf clubs all over the house.

We think he's also scared of the dark. We put him to bed between 6pm-6:30pm, so it is still light outside. We think he wakes up, realizes it is dark, and freaks. We let him cry it out, but it's so difficult!

It won't be long before he'll need his first haircut and we'll be spending lots of time at the pool!
